Apologies for my sudden disappearance, I hope I didn't miss too much in my studies, and will try to catch up as soon as possible.
The reason for my absence is relatively simple, although it has caused me some difficulty. I had been in the woods near the town, practising my possession. (You see, I find it much harder to take control of bodies I am not familiar with.) I had taken over a small bird, and was testing out my (lack of) flying abilities.
When I returned to 'my' body some time later, she had gone missing. Turns out that some locals had found her and had actually buried her. (As expected when a dead person turns up.) I spent most of my time between then and now within that body, to keep it from decomposing - which I shall continue to do until such time as I retrieve her from her grave.
I have taken temporary control of a new body until then, as you may have noticed. Due to the nature of the situation, I may disappear frequently, as it is more difficult to keep two bodies 'fresh' at the same time. Please be patient until this problem has been corrected.
